The High Line is a 1.45-mile-long New York City linear park built on a section of an old freight rail line. It is located on Manhattan’s West Side and runs from Gansevoort Street in the Meatpacking District to West 34th Street, between 10th &11th Avenues. Friends of the High Line works in partnership with the City of New York to preserve and maintain the structure as an elevated public park. Watch how New Yorkers float over busy streets in an innovative park.
