Atlanta was a city built for cars. But the Atlanta BeltLine project aims to change that by retrofitting and reconfiguring the auto-dependent metropolitan area to make it more walkable and livable. A 22-mile loop of trails, parks and greenspace, is being transformed as part of a massive project that will change the character of Atlanta–and its residents’ waistlines in the process. When the BeltLine is completed, citizens will be able to walk 45 different neighborhoods on a loop of trails. Learn more about this massive project.
