From July 14-17, City Parks Alliance, in partnership with the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation, presented Greater & Greener: Re-Imagining Parks for 21st Century Cities, four days that focused on the intersecting issues of urban parks, city planning, public health and environmental sustainability.

In addition to engaging keynote addresses by Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar and New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, more than 240 speakers presented at more than 100 workshops and park tours, sharing the innovation that is taking place in cities across the U.S. and throughout the world.
