The Alliance for Biking & Walking is a nonprofit coalition of over 200 state and local bicycle and pedestrian advocacy organizations. The Alliance creates, strengthens and unites advocacy leaders who are transforming their communities into great places to bike and walk. Consistent with a mission to make neighborhoods more livable with safe access to walking and biking, the Alliance works with a diverse and far-reaching network of leaders working at the state, regional and local level.
The Alliance also compiles the comprehensive biennial Benchmarking Report (http://www.bikewalkalliance.org/resources/benchmarking), publishes the Open Streets Guide (http://openstreetsproject.org/) and works with the League of American Bicyclists to offer resources and trainings to increase funding for active transportation through the Advocacy Advance Partnership (http://www.AdvocacyAdvance.org).
